Dear Kara,

Keep me posted on your new tanner because I have a wedding in a few weeks in Florida. Most likely I will spray tan at my favorite, Sundara. It isn't cheap but they do an amazing job so it is well worth it.

That's awesome about the brows...I so wish NYC had a Nordstrom, I hear one is coming but I think that might be a pipe dream.

I too am still on an Oscar kick and have been inspired by all the jewels. Natalie Portman's necklace was stunning. It makes me even more excited than ever to wear my birthday gift from you tomorrow night on "date night".  I love my tiger bracelet!

I also loved everyone's glowing skin and your post reminded me I still have more of my favorite Christmas present...The Somme Institute's travel kit. The kit has 5 steps and is color coated and numbered so it is full proof. Each time I have used it my skin has looked glowing and healthy.

Hope you are having fun in Disneyland!

XOXOXOXO
Margaret

Inspired by the Oscars..

Dear Margaret,

So, watching the Oscars really inspired me to want to work on my grooming maintenance a little more:) Every one's skin was glowing and bodies were perfect.. depressing depressing.. but anyways.. I was walking through Nordstroms with my mom yesterday looking for some sort of self tanner (since my legs are see thru creepy right now) and the cosmetics lady recommended this xen-tan red carpet blend tanner where you can adjust your tan depth/moisturizing ratio each time. I'm a product whore so of course I bought it.. plus I use this line's face luxe tanner and love it. I'll let you know if I look like J.Lo soon.. in which case you should buy it stat:) Also, this same lady told me about their new service at Nordstroms where they are trained by Anastasia (eyebrow genius to the stars) to shape/pluck/wax/groom eyebrows for only $30 per time. I made an appointment for next week... so again.. I'll let you know how that goes. They also sell these kits by Anastasia that help you stay on track with the brow grooming process.. if I like the service I will definitely buy the kit. Lastly, I was watching E! yesterday after this lil trip to Nordy and Dr. Perricone was being interviewed on his tips to having glowing skin and how to slow down the anti aging process. Basically, when it comes to skin, you are what you eat:): Water, salmon, tons of greens, lean proteins, nuts, oats.. stuff we really already know.. but the fact that it is actually proven to make your skin "glow" makes me want to go out and buy 200 bottles of Columbia Gorge "just greens" at whole foods for my skin's sake (although that would be ridiculous, seeing as they have expiration dates and are $4 a piece so it would be quite an investment).. but anyways.. you get the point. So, this is what the meticulously groomed and glowing stars at the Oscars have inspired me to do:)

Dear Kara,

I found another dress to add to your repertoire. Sofia Vergara's gown is right up your alley. I don't know who it is by. (I found the picture on people.com) But she looks like a total bombshell. Sofia was at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.

Dear Kara,

Ok I could have called it that you would like nudes and whites. And yes you are so right I love Angelina's Versace dress. I love the glamor of her look. (her arm candy is pretty nice too :)

Milla & Gweneth's were also in my top three.

Together our list rounds out the list of best dressed in my opinion.

Angelina...black and versace..so different yet so alike we are <3. One day apart and I miss you already!

Dear Noble Crow supporters,

It's our last day together in NYC before I (Kara) go back to Phoenix.. so we decided to share some of our fave places we ate while here.
If you love Moroccan food in a big way you can't miss the couscous tower at Cafe Gitane at the Jane hotel.. they toss their couscous with raisins, red peppers, toasted pine nuts, eggplant, organic chicken and top it with their creamy hummus.
If you want pizza without the guilt, go to Slice Pizza in the west village.. whole wheat crusts and vegan substitutes etc.. plus all the meats are free range.. and *bonus* they deliver.
So much eating and so much shopping=so much fun.. now Margaret gets to go back on her "zone manhattan delivery meals" and I need some sort of detox stat:) Whole foods here I come for your green juices.

Dear Noble Crow Supporters,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR "2 NOBLE CROWS" BLOG!

Today is the launch of our blog that we have been brewing up for what seems like forever. We are two best friends living miles and miles away, missing each other dearly, and desperately needing to stay connected in every aspect. We are passionate about high and low fashion, designer vintage, health, food, fitness, animals, books, design, and anything creative/inspiring in between... and we feel the need to share with each other and the world all of our lil treasures. This is our way of doing so.. kind of like modern day cyber pen pals sharing our passions for a luxurious and healthy lifestyle.
