As you know, my favorite color is white.. which means there's no way I'm giving it up just because of a stupid "no white after labor day" supposed rule:) Who even made that schenanegans up? The only whites I don't agree with going into fall are: white shoes, white sandals, and white light-weight, summery fabrics. With creative styling, it is easy to bring your summer whites into cooler months. Use layering and mixed textures to give your lighter pieces weight..And don’t be afraid to mix in shades of off-white and cream. There are endless options to use white for fall and winter: chose white blazers, skinny jeans, trousers, sweaters, fur, leather, even lace, etc. etc. Here are my favorite ways to wear white "after Labor Day":
