Beat the Summer Heat with these Top 10 "Guilt Free" Thirst Quenchers

Dear Margaret,

We are burning alive here in Phoenix, and sometimes plain water just doesn't do the trick. Here are my favorite top 10 "guilt free" natural thirst quenchers that I like to keep on hand in the summer time here to help me feel refreshed, energized, and hydrated. Hope ya'll have a Happy 4th of July!

xo,
Kara

I love this drink so much.. it tastes like a light strawberry daiquiri, only as 20 calories in the bottle, and is extremely good for you!:
"This sparkling delicious refreshment is a combination of coconut water, strawberries, acai fruit and certified organic KeVita™ culture.  Lightly sweetened with organic stevia, Strawberry Acai Coconut enhances digestive flora with live probiotic cultures.  All of the Coconut KeVita flavors are vegan and made with organic ingredients. Dairy, gluten, caffeine and soy free."
-I get mine at Sprouts and Whole Foods.

You can buy the tea bags and brew yourself (hot or cold), but I prefer to order mine in the store: Large Iced Tea with extra ice, and then I add a little splash of soy milk.. it really tastes like a creamy decadent treat.

I know you love these too.. especially Gingerade- "Two of nature's superheroes join forces: The healing power of GT’s Kombucha and the balancing and cleansing abilities of fresh-pressed ginger juice." These are so good for you and are very refreshing/filling! They even sell them in my local Safeway grocery store now.. also available at Sprout's and Whole Foods.

There are definitely so many great coconut waters out there, but this one is a personal have. To me it tastes like cereal milk:) Again, coconut water is so good for you too.. especially after a workout or to nurse a hangover:)
"For more than 4,000 years, coconut water has been revered as a natural source of nutrition, wellness, beauty and hydration."
-Pretty much available anywhere!

I love all of the "Republic of Tea" flavors, but this one is particularly refreshing for summertime. Can order online and some coffee/tea shops serve it!
"Quench your thirst with the smooth, full-bodied flavor of our award-winning, premium black tea. Each large, unbleached tea pouch steeps a full quart of iced tea. This tea offers the lushness of a fancy peach seasoned with the tingle of spicy ginger."

This drink is calorie free, hydrates you naturally, and helps speed up metabolism.. can't go wrong. Apple cider vinegar is used for its natural detox cleansing, healing, and energizing qualities. I get mine at Sprout's and Whole Foods.. also available online and in health food
stores.

Served at Starbucks nationwide (make sure to say "no added sweetener" to make it a calorie free refresher). You can buy the tea bags at Starbucks and some grocery stores or you can order at any store!
"Tazo® Iced Passion® Tea is a tantalizing, deep red infusion of hibiscus flowers, lemongrass, papaya, mango and passion fruit essence. Full of juicy tartness, this bold herbal blend of iced tea quenches your thirst and satisfies your desire for flavor."
-Definitely a summer staple!

I must say, this was quite the little find from Whole Foods! I bought the "Apple" flavor (which only has 44 calories) and is loaded with "31 superfoods that assist in nourishing, detoxifying, and energizing your body. It is high in protein, low in calories, and contains no added sugar." This is truly a "farmer's market" in a bottle.. genius!

These 100% natural sparking waters are so refreshing on a hot summer day. They also make great calorie free mixers! My favorite flavor is the coconut.. it has just a hint of flavor and is not overwhelming. Available at most grocery stores.. stock up!

I keep my fridge stocked with these bottles year round. Not only does it taste delicious, it also is a green tea so has all the antioxidant benefits! Available at your nearest Trader Joe's.
"It's made in small batches, using unsweetened green tea and natural blueberry & pomegranate flavors. This is a calorie-free drink that's bursting with flavor and, because it's unsweetened, really does quench your thirst. It's naturally a little sweet and a little tart, with the underlying grassyness for which green tea is adored."
