This weekend I finished a wonderful book called "Mornings in Jenin" by Susan Abulhawa. The book is about a Palestinian family that is set to refugee camp when the Jewish state of Israel is proclaimed in what was Palestine. The book is beautifully written and gives a firsthand look at the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis (which I finally feel like I understand) without feeling like I am reading a dry war novel. If you loved "Thousand Splendid Suns", this is must read.
