Best Celeb Trick to Create a "Fuller Summer Braid":

     I love your Charcuterie plate "how-to".. I've always wanted to put one together but didn't know where to start.. such a great guide, thanks!

   My favorite hairstyle in the summer is messy, braided hair...since I've been in California and Lake Michigan for some time now, it seems to be the easiest "quick fix" to create a manageable, beachy look.  I've always wondered though how these celebs with normal/thin hair are able to rock such thick looking braids.. well, I found the trick from "thebeautydepartment.com"!:

*All you need to do to create a fuller, more textured braid is:

-spray hair with hair spray and/or beach spray to make it more piecy/less slippery (I also use dry shampoo since my hair is very fine).

-separate hair into the three pieces to create your braid.

-before braiding, braid the center piece into its own braid.. then braid all three stands together. 

.. this creates the illusion of a much thicker braid! I pull out strands around my face and loosen the braid for a messier look. I also use bobby pins where needed and of course spray again with hair spray. And that's it!
